Commuter Challenge Diamond Awards

• Redmond businesses were well represented at the 17th Annual Commuter Challenge Diamond Awards breakfast on May 14. The awards were given to outstanding employer programs, partnerships and individuals within King County who contribute to reducing employee commute trips by collaborating to create a cleaner environment and better mobility for the region.

  Out of the 17 awards presented, three winners are located in our community:  Microsoft Corporation received a Diamond Ring for continuing achievement; Honeywell Corporation was honored with a Diamond Award for Organizational Leadership and our very own R-TRIP was recognized with a Diamond Award for Special Achievement presented to the City of Redmond.
