This is a Great Family Event!
Bring your boots, as the area gets quite soggy and wet. Help urban fish and wildlife.
In partnership with Adopt-a-Stream, we'll plant native willow, ninebark, dogwood, Sitka spruce and cedars along Mackey Creek.
We will provide tools, training, gloves, water and light refreshments, and lots of gratitude.
We work rain or shine, so dress for the weather and plan to get dirty.
Note: All participants are required to sign a volunteer agreement and waiver before working. Those under 18 must have the signature of a parent or guardian. Those under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Waivers are available to download and print from the city's website, and please let us know you plan to come at bsullivan@redmond.gov or 425-556-2845.
Directions: The restoration site is located at the end of SR 520. Follow Avondale Road approximately 1.25 miles. Turn right onto NE Novelty Hill Road. Go ¼ mile. Turn left unto NE Redmond Road and go ½ mile. Parking is on the left and is limited, so please try to carpool.
