Braiding the Grass on the Sammamish Trail

Sarah Kavage, a Seattle artist and urban planner, will create a site-specific art installation along the Sammamish River Trail by braiding the tall grass nearby.  She will work on the project beginning mid-August for about two weeks.

Redmond City Hall Campus

Vedic Cultural Center, in partnership with many Indian-American Associations, is hosting a free two-day outdoor festival of India to Redmond’s residents and visitors. The festival, titled Ananda Mela: A Joyful Festival of India will take place at the Redmond City Hall campus on Saturday June 26 and Sunday June 27, from 12 noon to 9 pm.
