Can you imagine an additional one million vehicles in traffic? If you are one of the nearly 15,000 Redmond residents or employees using alternative commutes and logging them on GOrtrip.com, you have contributed to reducing 1 million vehicle trips in Redmond since the program launched in May of 2008. Thanks a million, Redmond!
Redmond’s online commute management system, GOrtrip.com, allows users to log their alternative commutes when they get to work by any mode but driving alone, such as biking, walking, carpooling, vanpooling or taking the bus. The system then calculates statistics for vehicles trips saved, Co2 reduced, fuel saved and miles of alternative commutes logged. Statistics can be viewed by the individual user, by employer or system-wide. Check it out at GOrtrip.com.
